Event description
Explore climate action and resilience through creative practice.

Join us for a free, hands-on textile workshop led by local artists Tal Fitzpatrick and Melissa Spratt as part of A Portal to the Future series. Explore climate action and resilience through creative practice, learn to finger knit, contribute to a collective quilted artwork, and take home your own native seed bomb! Suitable for ages 10+, no experience necessary. All materials and morning tea are provided.

This workshop is one of three community events across the Gold Coast—in Upper Coomera (3rd October), Coolangatta (18th October), and Broadbeach—culminating on 24 October 2025 for the International Day of Climate Action. Spaces are limited—book your spot now.
