Event description

Description

The Little Critters Garden Play Program for 2 - 5 year olds and their caregivers is held on Thursdays 9.30am 6th - 27th August 2026 and runs for four weeks

Come along and have a play in our garden. We will be feeding the chickens, planting seeds, exploring worm farms, getting nature crafty and having fun getting grubby in a lovely big permaculture inspired garden.

The 2026 Little Critters Program Calendar is suitable for ongoing participation throughout the year as each program will have a different mix of activity themes (with some repetition) and aligned to Noongar seasons.  These include Splash in the Garden, Seeds and Growing, Wonderful Worms, Frog Fun, Aussie Plants are Bonza, Flowers & Leaves, Feathered Friends, Compost Lasagne Magic, Recycling Fun, Worms & Other Garden Creatures, Busy Bees & Butterflies, Birds in Backyards and Nature Craft for Gift Giving.

Activities include lots of fun sensory and exploratory play with useful creations to take home from potted seeds to nature craft. All materials are provided.

Little Critters is part of our Bendigo Bank Growing Well Program, proudly sponsored by Community Bank Bayswater.

Bring hats, water bottles, protective shoes, sunscreen in warm weather / raincoats on wet days and clothes you don't mind getting a bit messy.
