This workshop will explore ways of making your life more affordable - reduce your electricity bills, keep your house warm in winter or cool in summer, and find free and cheap goods and services. You will make and take home a list of resources and a small solar cooker or other useful devices.

About the Facilitator

Barb is a retired doctor who has a long-term interest in self-reliance and simple technologies such as solar cooking. She was inspired during her overseas humanitarian work by the innovations of people who had very limited resources. She has been practising Permaculture for over 30 years.
