Join Friends of CEC gardeners Chris and Claude for a hands-on workshop all about growing vegetables through the winter season.
This engaging session will focus on planting root vegetables in winter, along with practical tips and tricks to help you create a productive and thriving winter garden. Whether you're new to gardening or looking to expand your skills, you'll learn techniques that can be applied to both large garden beds and small spaces.
Following a short presentation, Chris and Claude will lead a live planting demonstration, showcasing how to successfully grow winter vegetables in garden beds and compact gardening spaces.
To finish, you'll get hands-on experience by potting up your own onion seedlings to take home and grow.
